About Fish Hooks

Fish Hooks is an upcoming American animated television series created by Noah Z. Jones. 21 episodes have been ordered for the first season. It will premiere in fall 2010 on Disney Channel.

The series revolves around "party guy" Milo, his neurotic brother Oscar and the "overly dramatic" goldfish Bea. They attend Freshwater High, a school submerged in a fish tank in a pet store. The series chronicles their daily lives as they deal with friendships, dating and sports as well as such typical teen issues, giant lobster attacks, and school field trips to the hamster cages.

Former That's So Raven and Cory in the House star Kyle Massey is the voice of Milo, Chelsea Staub from JONAS is the voice of Bea and newcomer Justin Roiland is the voice of Oscar.

Fish Hooks is the working title for the show. President of entertainment Gary Marsh stated about the show, quoting: "The Fish Hooks team has created one of the most original, inventive animated series on television – bringing an ingenious twist to the classic archetypes of high school life." The series will be produced using a mix of 2D digital animation and photo collages. The series is created and co-executive produced by children's book illustrator Noah Z. Jones and developed for television by Alex Hirsch and Bill Reiss.
