In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie SpongeBob SquarePants takes leave from his home in the town of Bikini Bottom in an effort to track down King Neptune's stolen crown. When the main suspect turns out to be Mr. Krabs, SpongeBob stands by his boss and vows to find the real culprit, even after just being passed over for the promotion of his dreams.

Next SpongeBob and Patrick go out on an adventure to travel for the first time on land to retrieve the crown and clear Mr. Krabs’ name.

The DVD bonus items include the "Saving the Surf" featurette and the "Case of the Spongebob" - special "undersea" featurette as well as the Submarine Teaser Trailer.
