Kelly Clarkson
Kelly Clarkson is from Burleson, a small town about 12 miles south of Fort Worth, Texas where she played with the high school band and sang in chorus. On September 4th, Kelly was voted the winner of Fox's American Idol talent contest. Originally she wanted to be a marine biologist but changed her mind when she saw the movie 'Jaws'. She was an extra on the show 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch'. Kelly graduated from Burleson High School in 2000. She won the "American Idol" contest by beating fellow contestant Justin Guarini. Prior to becoming the American Idol Kelly was a cocktail waitress at a comedy club in Arlington, Texas.
