Hugh Grant was born September 9, 1960 in London, England. He graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English. Appearing in television roles and lesser known films in the 80's and mid 90's, Hugh Grant became a household name in 1995 when he was arrested for lewd conduct after police found him with a prostitute, Divine Brown. His girlfriend at the time was actress Elizabeth Hurley. Since then he has had huge success with such films as Nine Months, Notting Hill, and Love Actually.
